PHNOM PENH, 16 June 2012 (Cambodia Herald) -US Ambassador William Todd is to start an "Ask the Ambassador" column to be published by The Cambodia Weekly and Rasmei Kampuchea from Sunday.
Todd,
who presented his credentials to King Norodom Sihamoni earlier this
month, said the idea is based on a weekly column he wrote while serving
as ambassador to Brunei.
"I am happy to be able to continue that tradition here in Cambodia thanks to our friends at Rasmei Kampuchea," he says.
"Giving Cambodians a chance to ask me questions is important because it will create a dialogue between us. It
gives me a way to learn what is important to Cambodians, and it gives
Cambodians an opportunity to get answers to questions that might
otherwise go unanswered."

my first question would be.... when the U.S government would considering cancel the debts from the Lon Nol 's era. I am totally beyond believe that the US still want the Money back plus interest......considering the Sideshow of the Vietnam War and the illegal menu operations in a neutral country. certtainly it is below today's ethical standards to recoup that dirty debt's money. this is no different to loan shark lending on the international scale.
Well, my question is that: the Carpet bombing destroyed my life and my families lives, what is the cost if those victims [ my families included] ask your government to pay back for what the bombs destroyed in that era?
If your government can't pay back what the bombs had destroyed,an estimated 600 thousand plus Cambodian lives,if your government can't pay back what your bombs destroyed why our government (Cambodia) have to pay back the cost of war that your gov't created?
U.S should forgive the dept in that era(Lon Nol ) regime. If U.S can not bring back the lives that the bombs killed...
Lost child.
does anyone have his email address so that we can forward our questions to him
Dear Khmerization,
We all agree it is a good thing for Ambassador Todd to
hold a " Q & A " every Sundays.
Can you set up a link at your forum here ?
We would appreciate very much.
Thank you
