PHNOM PENH, 27 June 2012 (Cambodia Herald) – The Cambodia-Thai Joint Working Group
began its latest round of talks Wednesday with discussions expected to
focus on withdrawing troops from around the Preah Vihear Temple
The meeting at the Peace Palace was co-chaired by General Neang Phat, secretary of state at the Ministry of National Defense, and General Worapong Sanganetra of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, a statement said.
In addition to the Provisional Demilitarized Zone (PDZ), the two sides were expected to discuss outcomes of the previous Joint Working Group meeting in Bangkok in April.
