Boeung Kak residents gather at US embassy

PHNOM PENH, 13 June 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Boeung Kak residents including children of 15 protestors now serving prison sentences gathered at the US embassy on Wednesday to appeal for support from Ambassador William Todd.

The residents urged Todd to ask US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to stop meeting with Cambodian government officials until the 15 convicts are released. They also called for similar action by EU ambassador Jean-François Cautain.

Too sad to see Khmers doesn't help Khmer.Khmes created suffering for fellows khners,Khmers destroyed khmers,Khmers has no patriotism for the country as whole.Khmer stealing from poor Khmers give to the rich foreigners.

Too sad see these children did what adult suppose to do,instead these adult that including the king ignored these children cried out for help. These children have to ask foreigners to help or intervene for their problem,it should have been resolve by Khmer's leaders or the king.
