Cambodian commanders at the frontline said Thailand had reinforced a substantial number of troops to the Preah Vihear, Ta Krabey and Ta Moan Thom temples, one day after Thailand announced the withdrawal its membership from Unesco in protest against Unesco's decision to submit Cambodia's Preah Vihear management plan.

A Cambodian commander said that at 11 p.m on Sunday night, 26th June, 10 Thai military trucks were seen transporting military equipment heading toward Ta Thav Pass, 7km east of Preah Vihear temple.

In response to the Thai reinforcements, the Cambodian side had also boosted up its military presence in the areas.

Cambodia is just reacting to Thailand's actions. If Thailand wanted war, Cambodia will give war. If Thailand wanted peace, Cambodia can give peace. Ovbiously, Thailand is itching to make war with Cambodia hoping to gain some ground and use that as a leverage for negotiation. Cambodia must deny this enemy from gaining anything. For centuries, Siem/Thai had so much gain from Khmer/Cambodia. That days should be over.

Good judgement from you above.

From this point on, any fighting that might erupt will paint even worser image of Thailand, from the perspective of the international community.

The international community won't probably do anything to stop Thai army's provocation so it will be left to us Khmer to protect ourselves.

Unite all my Khmer people!

I strongly beleive that Cambodia can defense itself from Thailand. I am not surprise if in the next couple days before Thailand election; Thailand pulls some punches to boost its supporters upcoming election. Democrate is in trouble and it is on the verge of loosing power in Thailand. Each one of them afraid that there will be revenged coming from Peau Thai Party given it closest freind Thaksin was overthrown from power and courted him unjustly in the coup 2006. In addition, the redshirts were gun down without mercy. Gen. Prayuth is on the shaky ground if Democrate loose power; which it will. The is old with cronic disease threaten his life daily. The prince might take over the thrown who is close ally to Thaksin. Democrate is scratching their head how to gain your popularity and support from Thais public? War, is the only option to increase nationalism or halt the election completely. Cambodia seems to be the logical answer because it is not risky to Thailand if small scale war erupted. I am not talking small scale arm conflict here; I am contemplate large arm conflict possibly small scale war to be exact. Thailand cannot risk large scale or long drawn war with Cambodia, however it can risk small scale war for short term because Thailand can stop and start the war any time. Why? Cambodia is not the agressor here and Cambodia is on the defense mode not offensive. Why wouldn't Cambodia wanted to risk of starting war with Thailand? Many analysises had predicted due to lack resource and lack of military power. Some disagree with the concept but fact is fact. Cambodia is booming economically; many investors flock into Cambodia because the law is not tight to do business in Cambodia, althought in the future it will change but for now, it is easy like 1-2-3 to open business in Cambodia and the government is very supportive to large investors. Cambodia has large young workforce ready to handle all kinds of labor work. In addition, there are strong new wave of students that will be finished school in next couple years ready for more management administrative roles and the pay is still cheap to hire Cambodian workers compare to other nations in Southeast Asia. Cambodia should be prepared for small scale war to defense ourself. It is not much choice if the United States and UN doesnt put pressure on Thailand to stop the agression. Abhisit's government listen to no body including ICJ, UNESCO, UN, and others.

Cambodia will not tolerate Thai's bullying...Cambodia has the right to reinforce her strenght and defend her sovereignty at all cost...Thailand is the one who kept look down on khmer again and again! Cambodian refugees were abused, rape, killed by Thai black soldiers...It's time to let Thailand know that Khmer is not animal as Thai thought...We will kill you and eat your live stocks too!

Cambodian soldiers and commanders must respect civilian life along the borders. Majority of those people are Khmer. They are our blood and they can be our partner in war. They hate PAD as much as we do.Thai is a broken nation at the moment. We must create a bond between Khmer in Thailand and in mainland this could be a turning point.

First, congratulation to the Cambodia's team. They have done wonderful job. I am not surprise that Thailand using the war tactic to halt the election for boost up supporters for Democrate Party. According to the poll, Democrate is loosing ground. Democrate saw the opportunity for gain popularity by waging war with Cambodia. Cambodia pretty much a hostage in this situation; Cambodia doesnt want war but Cambodia has no choice accept to fight and defense its nation. In Thailand, Peau Thai Party gaining momentum and people wanted change. Gen. Prayuth on the other hand live or die with the Democrate Party and the Yellow Shirt. Peau Thai has close relationship with Thaksin and the Redshirt; while Thailand king is old and struggling with chronic illness daily; his son will be the next person to take over the thrown who is close ally with Thaksin. Gen. Prayuth is the main character behind Thaksin coup 2006 so he is technically in shaky ground if Democrate loose this election. War can serve 2 things, stop the election completely or boost up nationalism increase Democrate popularity. It could also serve as suicidal mission if many Thai's soldiers killed. Cambodia is a small nation that wanted only peace. Thailand on the other hand can start and stop war any time it chooses if the International community didnt put pressure on Thailand militarily. Thailand doesnt listen to ICJ, UNESCO and others. What choice do Cambodia has beside fighting to defense itself. You cannot stand stills and allow Thailand to kill you. Ready or not small scale war is approaching.. Cambodia will fight if push to the corner.

Cambodian troops should expect Siem/Thai military to fight with little rules. They will use the dirtiest tactics and the biggest guns to gain ground. Cambodian troops must be tough and brave and not giving in to the Siem/Thai invader. If they want to fight Cambodia, Cambodia will fight them. The more they come, the more they will be kill by Cambodian troops. It feel good to kill the Siem/Thai invader. They forget what war can bring them. Cambodia should teach Thailand a lesson of what it's like to have war. War is not pretty, if Thailand wants itself to be ugly, then war Cambodia should give.

I don't think those khmer/thai...called khmer surins like us at all, they are brainwash just like the rest of Thai people...Why? Because Thai black soldiers are khmer surin people, they are the one who torture khmer refugees people in Thailand? I believed most of the real Thai citizens very nice people...I got robbed and beaten by Khmer Surin(Thai black clad) I don't hate khmer surin, but what i'm trying to say is:>Khmer surin is the one who usually torture khmer each other...SEE?

I agree with Warrior Blood. I'm trying real hard to see this conflict from both side of the fences. The more I look at it, the more I see Cambodia on the right side. Every single clash since 2008, was initiate by the Thai side. The Thai, of course, denied all of them.
Metaphorically speaking, Thailand is like a spoil child, if it doesn't get what it wants, it'll cause all kinds of troubles.
Hun Sen said at one of his speech. I am paraphrasing, we're not going to forgive Thai anymore. He said if we are attacked, he'll order our troops to use big guns and not use restraints.
I agree with Hun Sen. We cannot just fight a defensive battle, we need to push them back and out of the so-called "disputed zone".
I think war is immenent at this point. Our troops must be prepared. We won't start the war, but must go all out and teach them a lesson not to mess with us and allow us to live in peace. We've seen in the past how Thai react to situation like this, especially when it's not in their favor. God bless Cambodia, our troops and our people.

Best Regards,
The Great Khmer Empire

What kind of gun is this? 82mm motar?

Anonymous said...

I wonder if cambodian troop have 155mm artillery...Cuz most of the artillery i'v seen are old D-30,122mm?

I Hate Siam said...

155mm self-propelled caesars made by the French are powerful and are very expensive. Only a handful of countries have them including United States, France, and Thailand. Thailand claimed that they destroyed 4 Cambodian BM-21 with their 155mm Caesar guns. I fully refutted that claim. No proof what so ever.
Keep in mind, old or new, they are effect if used properly.
We don't have these kinds of guns. The biggest one we got are the BM-21. They are the most effective against tanks, mass troops, and artillery batteries such as the 155mm caesars. During the last clash, the Thai army did not have an answer for BM-21 except firing indiscriminately at civilian targets with 155mm guns.

Gen. Tea Banh should ask China for a new BM-21 with new high tech equipped, because the BM we have right now is out of date?? We need atleast 20 more TRUCKS!!

To all Khmer around the world; if you happen to read Khmerization or other news; I urge all of you not to stand still, start to form groups to be prepared to help Cambodia when the time come. Let hope that Thailand stop waging war with Cambodia but we dont know how it will response to ICJ rulling either. Cambodia around the world should start meeting each other at their location in groups and discuss about border issues, educate and inform each other of the problems and strategies different ways they can help when the time come. Cambodia has to be proactive in order to survive. Cambodia cannot stands alone and watch Thailand blown our soldiers us to pieces. I urge all of you to put out the same message to other news media urging all Cambodian citizens around the world to united and prepared for the worse and ready to help out as much as they can to Cambodia's nation. If you can't be at the front line, you can rally up groups to do protests throughout the world, you can organize to do fund raising to raise money to support the refugees or injured soldiers or their families. You can show them your support emotionally both financially and strategically. I know there are alot of groups are doing it as I am speaking now. Keep up the good work and continue what you are doing and encourage more people to help out. There will be displaced families from war. My hope is for Thailand to be civilized and peace should be the guiding principle. It is sadden to see Khmer and Thai fight. There are many Khmer Surin who was originally Khmer, separted from Khmer many years. Cambodia never hate you or forget about you. We love you because you are our brothers and sisters. You "Khmer Surin" related to Cambodia by blood. Dont let other paint your face to look any different or treated Cambodia different from your own kind. Our ancestors stood still watching us from above. We are long lost brothers and sisters; Cambodia has always welcome and seek for you. Other tried to erase us from this earth by not allowing you to study your own language, culture, literature and customs. You were punished if they found out you you pratice those basic things or tried to remember your own root. We know and feel your pain as we dealt with our own pain and sufferings. If you are station on the other side of the fence and ready to pull those trigger, just remember you are shooting at your own brothers and sister. God bless Cambodia. May Khmer Empire Worrior's spirit protect all Khmer from any harm, may those spirits bring us peace and harmony.

During the recent Veteran Association Anniversary, Hun Sen joked that let alone Thai satellite, even the US's wouldn't be able to pinpoint where Cambodian firing positions are when the shelling come from hundred of positions simultaneously.

If his words are correct, we have more BM-21 then we publicly see on the media.
