-The Kampuchea Thmey Daily reports that the UN Security Council is now holding an emergency session on the current Cambodian-Thai border conflict which had erupted into 4 armed clashes in the last few days.
-The newspaper reported that Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is opposed to the involvement of the UNSC and insisted on bilateral negotiation, but Cambodia rejected Thailand's proposal.
-However, CEN has reported that the president of the UN Security Council, Mrs. Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti, has sent a letter to Prime Minister Hun Sen stating that the Cambodian-Thai conflict must be resolved by the Asean through a bilateral dialogue.
-The military situations in Preah Vihear at 5:06 p.m Cambodia time remain calm, but both sides are on high alert.
-Today, a Thai yellow shirt leader called on the Thai Air Force to bomb Preah Vihear temple into pieces.
-There are unconfirmed reports that Colonel Sansern Kaewkamnerd, spokesman for the Thai Army, has warned that Thailand is prepared to use the Thai Air Force against Cambodian troops in the fight to gain control of the "disputed territory".

becarefull with those 50 million dollar air force plane because cambodia bullet got eyes! and it's angry.
no it is not true. UNSC just express concern. and wait for the result from ASEAN mediation. the most important US has some hesitation to involve on this matter.
the U.N. Security Council's rejection of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen's call for an urgent council meeting. Council president, Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti, said the problem should be solved at a regional level.
i don't think ASEAN has any influent to meditate this conflict as Thailand said bilateral talk is an option so this way Thailand can block the shine from the sun over the area or the whole legal prcedure. Because you know bady when crying mean wanting something so will kept crying got something what it wanted. Therefore, to presuade them not cry only give them some candy/ shell.
UNSC,please put a stop to the tradition of intimidation,aggression and twisted facts with impunity of Thailand which always practiced against Cambodia.Cambodian was accused of planting new mines and guess who paid the mines planter whom cambodian soldier caught? Now Cambodian was accused of being the aggressor toward Thais. As a Cambodian I appeal to the world, please, If you care about the whales,the elephants the condors,please keep in mind that Cambodians suffered for at least 600 years now and we need your help.
