Cambodian military sources said that Thai troops have continued their psychological warfare against Cambodia by exerting immense military pressures on Cambodian troops by using all sorts of provocations, including troop manoeuvrings. The latest provocations was by shelling Cambodian territory in the hope that Cambodian troops will retaliate that will give them an excuse to start the fighting.
The sources said that at 8 p.m last night, Monday 7th February, Thai troops had fired one 80mm mortar shell into Cambodian territory near Chak Chreng, located about 5 kilometres east of Preah Vihear temple, but Cambodian troops had been ordered to show the utmost restraint. Seeing that Cambodian troops did not respond, one hour later Thai troops fired another 80mm mortar shell into Cambodian territory again, but, again, Cambodian troops did not retaliate.
Today, the 8th February, Cambodian military sources said the military situations in Preah Vihear remain calm for the whole day, but there are reports that Thailand had reinforced more troops and weapons to the border areas from Preah Vihear to Oddar Meanchey provinces. The Thai red beret (commando forces) troops had been reinforced along the borders in Oddar Meanchey province. Cambodian troops had been ordered to be on high alert, while most Cambodians living along the borders had all escaped deep into the interior of the country to avoid further clashes.

According to the unreason provocation like this thatwise Khmer need UN keeping troop to monitor who start fire first.
The UN and the rest of the world should pay more attention closely, you see, they keep bothering khmer and shooting first! We did not fire back at them 02/08/11 last night and they kept on shelling into cambodia, we are patient from the begining! Thai bastard want us to fire back so, they can have something to blamed cambodia! I'm sicken tired when UN said, please be more patient! more patient! But the Thai side is keep bothering...idiot??
UN must put their troops in between the area...like buffer zone! Thailand will not stop invading or giving khmer a headache..We must take them back to International court again, no more fooling around, otherwise, they never leave us alone..
Fucken UN want Asean to handle the issues! The Asean Chief(Surin) is Thai national, he will not do shit to help cambodia..?
This is why the Cambodian media should continue to expose Thai hypocrisy. They said Cambodian troops always attacked and fired first, but the reality on the ground is that the Thais were the one who provoked, encroached and started the fighting. The UN and Asean should not leave Cambodia and Thailand to fight to the death because Thailand, as the bigger guy, will keep bully Cambodia, the small guy, until Cambodia gives Thailand all what it wanted.
