an official from the Ministry of Tourism said another tourism information centre will be open next Tuesday in Battambang City to provide information to potential local and international tourists who want to explore the city and the province.
Mr. Tith Chenda, director of Tourism Department, said the new information centre will be opened on 14th September which hopes to provide hopes and comfort to tourists who need information about sightseeing. "We have built this information centre to provide information to tourists. We plan to build this kind of centre around the country", he said.
Up until now, the Ministry of Tourism had built 16 information centres in 13 provinces. Mr. Tith Chenda said this a tourism development plan in the Mekong regions which funded by the Asian Development Bank.
