Singer Meng Keo Pichata, also known as Meng Keo Pich Chenda, has rejected a court mediation for a reconciliation with her husband, Gen. Moung Khim, at a court hearing on 8th December, report Koh Santepheap.
Ms. Meng Keo Pichata has filed for divorce from Gen. Moung Kim, Deputy Chief of Justice Police at the Interior Ministry, citing irreconcilable differences. Both party refused to reveal the reason of their "irreconcilable differences", but sources close to the couple who spoke to Kampuchea Thmey on condition of anonymity, said the reason Ms. Meng Keo Pichata filed for a divorce was because Gen. Moung Khim had too many mistresses. According to the newspaper, Ms. Meng Keo Pichata is Gen. Moung Khim's fifth wife.
According to Koh Santepheap, Gen. Moung Khim has begged his wife for a reconciliation, but Ms. Meng Keo Pichata strongly rejected the offer.
According to court documents, Mrs. Meng Keo Pichata has filed for the custody of their two children and had also requested the court to evict Gen. Moung Khim from their luxury mansion. Sources close to the couple also said that Ms. Meng Keo Pichata had also solicited the help from the Council of Ministers (Deputy PM Sok An?) in her divorce case with Gen. Moung Khim.

Is there something behind?
Yes, the latest reports said Gen. Moung Khim had too many mistresses. And that Pichata is his fifth wife. I think the report is true and it is infidelity that caused the marriage break up.
