Thai commanders have refused to withdraw their troops from the Chak Chreng area after more than one hours of talks with the Cambodian commander on 13th June, reports everyday.com.
During the more than one hours of talks between Cambodian Gen. Srey Doek and Thai Gen. Chavalit Prasat, the Saranaree Taskforce commander, Gen. Srey Doek had proposed that both sides withdraw their troops from the area, but the Thai commander refused.
The talks ahve been stalled and after more than one hours of fruitless talks both sides agreed to station only 15 troops from each side in the area. Both sides had also agreed not to use force to repel each other and also not to reinforce more troops to the area as well as changing the troop positions without informing the other side.
