VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Committee on Land Border Demarcation and Marker Planting held their third-round meeting in Ho Chi Minh City on March 11 and 12.
The two sides reviewed the demarcation of land border between the two countries from 2006 up to present and worked out measures to implement the master plan on demarcation for from 2009-2012 period.
The Vietnamese delegation was led by Ho Xuan Son, Deputy Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Ministry’s National Border Committee while the Cambodian delegation was led by Var Kim Hong (pictured), and Senior Minister and Government Advisor for border issues. Ho Xuan Son and Var Kim Hong are co-chairmen of the joint committee.
