Ministries told to plan for climate change cost

Cambodian ministries should take into account possible climate-related mishaps when planning capital projects, Asian Development Bank representatives told ministry officials at a workshop yesterday.
The officials were told that when planning new projects like roads or irrigation, the government should research how droughts and floods would affect them to avoid costly surprises.
The workshop was held by the department of climate change with the ADB and several consulting firms to educate officials from the ministries of agriculture, environment, water resources, rural development and public works .
“This kind of evaluation needs to be mainstream,” said Peter John Meynell, with the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
Ou Chanthearith, from the climate change department, agreed more review of climate change factors during national development planning is needed.
According to the ADB, climate change mitigation investments in the country from all sources currently total $554 million.

Reads like the Bank is in a con artist game to reap billions more and pass the blame on environmental damage to the common people who try to eek out a living plowing with oxen and water buffalo. They always throw out these cautions to make them appear as the guiltless one.

it had snowed in vietnam and Laos last month or so... then last week it snowed on a french island in the Caribbean , then a few days ago it snowed in Guatemala and Costa Rica... what do they all have in common ? they are all located in the tropical zone...still believe in ''global warming crap "? of course now they call it climate change but it will come down to '' money '' more money for those in control of the gov [ from carbon taxing ] and as always the middle and poor classes will be the ones paying that tax NOT those in power who have more cars ,ships/yatches and private jet planes...
what cause all the anomalies in the weather ? the rotation of earth itself -- no longer smooth but wobbly instead , thus on certain days , the jet streams will travel farther south than they were before, bringing cold air with it and in some places excess warm air to area not used to it before [ alaska was warmer during this winter than some areas of the US and europe] ...what is causing this wobbling of earth rotation , the poles are moving [ documented by satellites sent by german and Nasa ]
