The three-day festival, expected to draw hundreds of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists, will showcase culture, traditional games, sports, martial arts, food, and concerts.
"This annual festival has greatly contributed to attracting tourists to the Angkor archeological park," the premier said at the opening ceremony, which was live broadcast on Bayon News TV channel.
"It also truly reflects full peace and stability in Cambodia," he said.
The festival is organized by the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, which is led by Hun Sen's youngest son Hun Many.
