AN OPEN LETTER TO GENERAL HUN MANET
Dear General Hun Manet,
Like your father, you have failed to understand and to alleviate the miseries and the cries
of the Khmer people, whom you profess to love, serve and protect.
You and your father have imposed exceptional hardships to the innocent Khmer people and have
destroyed the national resources for personal gains.
You, who are supposedly more educated than your father should have realized that Hanoi has been using you, yes YOU and your father to fight a proxy war, benign it seems, but nevertheless deadly against your own Motherland and your own countrymen.
On the other hand, with just a few strokes of a pen you and your father can salvage Cambodia by:
1. Restoring true democracy for the Khmer people, and adhering to its principles
2. Denouncing Hanoi colonization of Cambodia, and declaring the Viets must keep out and off
Cambodia
3. Signing a military treaty with the traditional enemy of Vietnam, China ( For at least until Cambodia can defend itself and by itself )
Mr. General, either as a soldier or as a man you will face and fight your last war.
Hence, die gallantly and valiantly as a HERO, a Khmer hero that is.

I think Hun Manet never care about what we write or written. the only He is care is only his families power and wealth and all of this is YUON hand it to his father and I think he was so happy to protect and serve YUON as his father do and YUON so happy about that in process of swallow Cambodia and Now YUON take advance of that by replacing provincial leader ,police leader and military leader as YUON relating and all can speaking YUON but their name are real Khmer and watch out Khmer what will be next? I think all of Hun will be gone also because that the way YUON is.

សុំសរសើដល់អស់លោក ស៊ីភីភី ដែលពូកែ វ៉ៃ ធាក់ កាប់ ចាក់ ចាប់ ចង ដាក់គុក បាញ់សម្លាប់ ខ្មែរ ហើយក៍សុំសរសើ ដែលចេះកាពារយួនបានល្អឥតខ្ចោះ តែខំសប្បាយឲ្យហើយទៅ ដល់ពេលវាថា ឌូម៉ែ ពេលនោះអស់លោកច្បាស់ជាបានទទួលរង្វាន់ពីសែសហើយ។

Hun Manet is not as rotten as his father yet.
Beside he does not owe Yuon the way his father does.
If we keep up the criticism, especially protest against him when he comes to Long Beach for this Khmer New Year parade, there are possibility of change.
Also I know he is going to China his week. Is it true. ?

I agreed and disagreed with you.
Agreed: Yes, CPP had not heard of Khmer cries and worst they they were the one committed many injustices to helpless Cambodian peoples. Yes, CPP party was created by Khmer Viet Minh in the 50's and 60's. They were the one King Father tried to eliminated. They were also the one Lon Nol Republic army tried to wipe out but failed miserably. Pol Pot was also killing millions of innocent Khmers trying to eliminate these Khmer Viet Minh and failed worst. Most CPP leaderships are low educated Khmer Viet Minh peasants but their offspring got good educations. They also turned a blind eye to Vietnamese illegally annexed our land borders and islands. CPP signed illegal border treaties 1985 under Youn occupations and this illegal by UN ruled. The CPP and to my surprise our King signed another 2005 supplemental illegal treaties to 1985 treaty with People Republic of Vietnam. CPP cronies are destroying our country natural resources. Illegal of Vietnamese are flooding Cambodia without check. Our so called Eastern border troops are armed with stick & stone when around Youn troops. Lol
Disagreed: Everyone here kept mention about Hun Maneth must the right thing for Khmer BUT ARE WE SURE THAT HE IS PURE KHMER ? I might be wrong but I really not sure these guys are pure Cambodian from the first place. If Hun Maneth is pure Khmer I am sincerely apologize. From what I had observed Hun Maneth and his brothers seem much more gentle and educations than his parents. Again I could be wrong.
Last, let celebrate Khmer New Year peacefully with General Hun Maneth. We Khmer MUST try to reconcile and united it sound impossible but we MUST. Please no protest at General Hun Manet at Long Beach parade. A protest only harden these CPP feeling. Lets try to love them even if we are disgusted for the sake of Cambodia.

Dear Sisters & Brothers,
First and foremost, I like to sincerely thank Khmerization
for featuring my article again. To my surprise, Khmerization did even embellish
it with such an iconic cartoon.
I also like to thank ALL the posters who presented their individual views and opinions
from both schools of thoughts. I welcome and treasure the pros and cons, as long as they
are done with national interests and civility.
As always, it is my sole and solemn wish, if and when possible to identify the problems and propose plausible solutions. Likewise, I would like to know the views and opinions of others, especially of those who have read my article (s).
For this upcoming New Year, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Khmerization and all the posters/readers success, health and happiness.
