PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Members of new National Election Committee (NEC) have elected Hang Puthea, the ninth member of the independent election body, as the spokesman who will start his position from Thursday.
The NEC chose him as the spokesman because he has election affair experience and that he is easy to provide clear information to media, said Kuoy Bunroeun, vice president of the election body.
"We want journalists to receive clear information about NEC because Hang Puthea is a person who knows clearly about election affairs," he said
He will answer questions from reporters from today, he said.
