Chinese president meets Cambodian PM ahead of security summit

On Sunday, Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen in Shanghai.
President Xi says China and Cambodia share a strong friendship, and their comprehensive strategic partnership will be promoted despite changes in international affairs.
President Xi also expressed his hope that the countries will continue to have high-level exchanges and share their development experiences. In particular, he said cooperation would continue in water, electricity, coal mining and infrastructure construction.
Meanwhile, the Cambodian prime minister said the two countries had reached important consensuses in several areas. He then thanked China for its assistance and help, and said Cambodia would continue to cooperate with China in promoting security and enhancing development.
