RYLSTONE/KANDOS
A garden party fundraiser for Fireflies International Preschool in Kampot, Cambodia attracted a large crowd of supporters to Annabel Combes home in Rylstone on Saturday.
Ms Combes is the mother of founder of the school, Milly Freestone who opened the school in August 2013.
It provides education for Khmer and western children in Kampot. Co-organiser of the fundraiser, Gemma Suttor welcomed the guests and thanked them for their support.
Fireflies is the only school in Kampot with fully qualified western teachers.
During the afternoon guests mingled and enjoyed looking atphotos of the school and the young children who attend.
Later, anauction of donated items was held by auctioneer on the day, Neil Brodie.
