Representative of ITUC talked to the press after meeting with Minister of Labour today, demanding release the 23 detainees and determine minimum wage of 160$ per month. Mr. Jaap Wienen, deputy general secretary of International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC): I will write to Prime Minister, Hun Sen, to explain the roles of trade unions, manufacturers and the government in the quarrentee of workers' decent living standards.

this is what unionized could lead to.. in paris taxi drivers union want no competition and demand that the govt pass a regulation in their favors... when it did not happen the way they want , taxi drivers began attacking the competition while passengers were inside the limousine. the people are usually victims of union because they can't find cheaper service.[ no competitor ]
