CNRP skirts talk of political negotiations [Hun Sen agreed to 80% of the CNRP's demands]

Opposition party leaders Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha yesterday offered no outright denials that negotiations with the ruling Cambodian People’s Party were advancing toward a solution to the political deadlock, conceding that proposals had been exchanged.
On Monday, two independent political analysts privy to the discussions told the Post that the two leaders had met with and presented a list of demands to a high-ranking government official acting as a go-between for negotiations following the violent crackdowns of January 3 and 4.
The mediator passed on their proposal to Prime Minister Hun Sen, who agreed to 80 per cent of the key demands, the mediator said, according to analyst Kem Ley.
At a press conference at CNRP headquarters yesterday, Rainsy said his party had given proposals to the CPP, but only at the “working group” level.
“At the level of working groups, we have a representative who has met several times with the representative of the CPP. We have exchanged documents, proposals, but there is no agreement in view, nothing,” he said.
Kem Sokha brushed off questions from a local journalist about the talks.
“It’s nothing new. This working team we have established a long time ago.… Since the last meeting, we haven’t met again, since it was deadlocked [then],” he said, without specifying when the last meeting took place.
On the 80 per cent figure of demands agreed to, Sokha said he couldn’t deny it without knowing the source of the claim, despite the Post article identifying the political analysts providing the information.
“I don’t know which source they got that from. It’s difficult to deny and it’s difficult to say yes,” he said.

On January 2, following the violent crackdown on demonstrators near the Yakjin garment factory, the CNRP said it withdrew from planned talks with the ruling party.
At the time, Rainsy said his party would “not talk with such barbarians”, while party spokesman Yim Sovann said negotiations could possibly resume when violence ceased.

If Rainsy accepted the offer from Mr. Hun Sen (meeting 80% of the CNRP's demands), nobody would have died, nobody would have been wounded. There will be no damages to the factories, no 200 million US dollars loss of revenue and no damage to Cambodia's business reputation.

Do not believe 80 percents of demands offered by criminal CPP Hun Sen and his illegal subordinate thugs. Just be careful and need to do homework and learn from the history have passed by for over 30 years under the thieves of Hun Sen his CPP regime.

Mr. Sam Rainsy and Mr. Kem Sokha need to gather the intelligent and well educated Cambodian (Khmer) individuals who supported CNRP and Khmer intelligent experts and educators for their consultations and advices. Be very smart !!!

Again, cont'd from 15 January 2014 9:17 pm

CPP, Hanoi and thieves can fool Khmer(Cambodian) people of Opposition Parties. It has been more than 30 years of ruling criminal CPP led by illegal Vietnamese installed Prime Minster Hun Sen.

We all know so well now, Hun Sen and CPP thugs along with Hanoi leaders.

We know that you (Hun Sen and CPP thugs along with Hanoi leaders) are depending on military and arm forces to kill us, but we are people power that you (Hun Sen and CPP thugs along with Hanoi leaders) cannot break up a part.

Hanoi leaders must give up on Hun Sen and do something for your people in Vietnam and your Vietnamese people who are suffering as well. Hanoi leaders should be under the investigation of World Organization or the international Community and UN.

Right now, in the International eyes, Mr. Hun Sen is the good guy trying to talk, to compromise as the International has advised him so.

But the Opposition group refused to heed to the advises from the International. Now the Opposition group is the bad guy.

The Opposition group is no match to Mr. Hun Sen in the political skill. Mr. Hun Sen is just too smart.

P.S. May I suggest to get better opponents if you want to oppose Mr. Hun Sen. lol.

Don't give in. NO NEGOTIATION!!!!!. This can lead to a breakdown of the current strong momentum. FUNCIPEC is an example when an opposition party give in to a negotiation with hun sen. Remember, CNRP won the election. Hun sen has no right to be the Priminister. Don't be FUNCIPEC #2. Don't fall into that trap. CNRP will loose next election if it give in to the negotiation. People will not support them anymore because there will be very little change.
