A Perth man who spent days tracking down a young Cambodian couple after witnessing a horror hit-and-run crash has found the pair in a run-down hospital.
Fremantle man Craig Booth spent days tracking down 23-year-old Chan Youry and 29-year-old Yin Vannak after witnessing a four-wheel-drive Lexus swerve into the pair's scooter in the early hours of Christmas morning at the beach resort town of Sihanoukville on Cambodia's southern west coast.

The Lexus hit a median strip before speeding off from the crash.
Mr Booth helped provide first aid at the scene and put all the money he had with him - just $18 - in the woman's pocket before she was taken away by ambulance.
He was seriously worried about the woman's condition and scoured more than a dozen hospitals and clinics, and was even told to try the local morgue, to see if there was anything he could do to help.
Eventually, a hotel manager gave him a tip off that the pair had been taken to Cambodia's capital city Phnom Penh, about 230 kilometres away.
When he arrived, he said he was shocked at the hospital's run-down condition.
"The ICU unit was full of flies and the hospital itself looked like an old school," Mr Booth said.
"I arrived and both mothers seemed distressed and were sat at their bedsides," Mr Booth said. "They had travelled about 300km to be there and the boy's mother had just $3 to her name," Mr Booth said.
Youry earns less than $60 a month making clothing and suffered head injuries and a broken leg in the accident.
Vannak, a casino technician on just $80 a month, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and had to undergo major surgery for internal injuries.
Mr Booth said locals reported the car was found by police dumped nearby. No one was charged with the accident.

Cambodia is very poor and Rainsy incited garment workers into riots against the government. Look what happened to the clinic, it was smashed by stones and mostly destroyed.
