SIEM REAP (The Cambodia Herald) – The Thai military returned two Cambodian nationals killed in Thai territory, according to the police.
The bodies were returned on Monday by way of the Chorm Srongam border entrance in Oddor Meanchey’s Anlong Veng district.
Heng Phin and Touch Nget were shot and killed by Thai soldiers after they illegally crossed into Sisaket province in Thailand with eight others on December 18 to harvest rosewood.
The bodies, already placed in coffins, were sent to their families for funeral arrangements.
A source said that another Cambodian killed in the same case was also returned to Cambodia around December 20-23.
