Sam Rainsy appeals to the armed forces to join force with the opposition to protect the people

ប៉ុន្មានថ្ងៃ ចុងក្រោយនេះ, ខ្ញុំ ទទួលបាន ពត៍មាន ជាច្រើន ទាក់ទង នឹងការចល័តទ័ព គម្រោងដាក់ ពង្រាយកំលាំង ប៉ូលីស និងប៉េអឹម នៅតាម បណ្តាផ្លូវនានា ក្នុងរាជធានី ភ្នំពេញ។

ខ្ញុំ ដឹងថា, សកម្មភាព បែបនេះ កើតឡើង តាមការបញ្ជា របស់ បុគ្គល កាន់អំណាច ម្នាក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។  ហើយ ខ្ញុំ ក៏ដឹងទៀត ថា, បងប្អូន, កូនក្មួយ, ពលទាហាន, ប៉ូលីស, និងកងកំលាំង ប្រដាប់អាវុធ ទាំងអស់ កំពុងទន្ទឹង រងចាំ រដ្ឋាភិបាលថ្មី ដែលនឹងផ្តល់ ប្រាក់ខែជូន យ៉ាងតិច ១លានរៀល ក្នុងមួយខែ, ហើយ រស់នៅ ក្រោមដំបូល រដ្ឋាភិបាលថ្មី ប្រកប ដោយការយកចិត្ត ទុកដាក់, ទទួលខុសត្រូវ, និងមានតំលៃ ក្នុងសង្គម។  ដូច្នេះ នៅពេលនេះ ជាឪកាសមាស របស់ បងប្អូន ក្នុងការរួមគ្នា ក្រោកឡើង ជាមួយ ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋយើង និងជាមួយ យុវជន សង្រ្គោះជាតិ របស់យើង ដើម្បី ទាមទារ ឲ្យមាន ការផ្លាស់ប្តូរ ឆ្ពោះទៅរក ការបង្កើត រដ្ឋាភិបាលថ្មី ក្នុងឆ្នាំ ២០១៣នេះ ឲ្យទាល់តែបាន។

សូម ឲ្យកងកំលាំង ប្រដាប់អាវុធ ទាំងអស់ មានឆន្ទៈ ការពារ ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ របស់ខ្លួន តាមគន្លង ព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា!

Within recent days, I received a lot of information regarding the movement of military and police forces to be posted along the streets of Phnom Penh.

I know that this activity is really only the order from one man (the one in power).  And I also know that you the people -- the young, the old, the police, all the security forces -- are eagerly awaiting the new government that will provide a monthly salary of at least one million riels -- a new government that cares, is responsible, and has dignity in society.  Hence, this is a golden opportunity for you the people to come together, to rise up with he youth in demanding CHANGE, a change that sees a new government in this year of 2013.  We will not rest until we achieve this change.

I request for all the security forces to protect your people in accordance to Buddhist precepts!
