Foreign Minister Hor Namhong shakes hand with China's Foreign Minister

(The Cambodia Herald) -- China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged both
opposing political parties in Cambodia to conduct talks in order to find a peaceful solution to the alleged election irregularities.
He made his comment in a news conference with Cambodia's Foreign Minister, Hor Namhong at the Intercontinental Hotel.
Wang Yi congratulated the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) headed by Prime Minister Hun Sen over the victory in Cambodia's fifth parliamentary election.
"The Chinese government will continue to support Cambodia and prevent any external interference," he said.
"The Chinese people also strongly support the Cambodian government that takes action to ensure stability, economic development and peace," he added.

Minister Hor Namhong thanked the Chinese government for supporting
Cambodia's general election held on July 28, and also thanked Wang Yi's
visit.
There will be ASEAN-China Foreign Ministers Meeting from 28-30 this month in Beijing. The meeting will
improve better relations and more mutual understanding between China and
ASEAN, he added.
