Subedi Protest Linked to CPP-Aligned Youth Group [Hun Sen sent his youths to heckle the UN envoy]

Despite the apparent spontaneity of a protest against U.N. human rights envoy Surya Subedi at a university in Phnom Penh on Tuesday night, it emerged Wednesday that one of the apparent leaders of the demonstration is associated with a youth organization aligned with the ruling CPP.
The rare instance of activism—in which the students angrily questioned Mr. Subedi’s independence and unveiled banners demanding that he end his mandate to monitor human rights in the country—appears to demonstrate the long reach, and appeal, of the ruling party, which now dominates most areas of Cambodian society.
Proof of CPP youths sent in to heckle Surya Subedi

Two CPP youths identified as hecklers against Surya Subedi

Heckler number one is Soun Vuthy.
Heckler number two is Chea Chheng

Chea Chheng (bottom right) was a former president of the student association who has NO knowledge of the country's illnesses/
All dressed up to serve Hun Sen. Chea Chheng can be seen dressed as a CPP youth.

What are you Nut's brain? Bravery in the wrong way, what's a Nut's head of these Niseth (high educator students) Khmer 7th Makara were brain washed by little gift from the killer/robber whom robed their citizens to enrich themselves.

Why wasted your brain cells in school while you can't use it in the right way to benefit society as whole? A little gift can buy your influence blinded your judgement can't distinguish between right from wrong dare to challenge the good deeds in favour of the bad evil deeds of regime that abused and killed robbed their own citizens for its cronies.

Why wasted time and money if you Nut's brain wasn't works right? Why stood up to confronted the good and turned the deaf ears and blinded eyes on the EVil manipulator Hun Sen?Because of a little gift you owed your gratitude to EVIL REGIME that abused the innocent khmers people all over Srok Khmer. If you see evil acts against an innocent people you didn't confront that evil, you're evil yourself, Mr Chea Chheng had done just that to protect evil regime because he owed Hun Sen gratitude for that little GIFTS!....

You don't even know the difference between democracy and dictatorship.
In a dictatorship country, when the Dictator doesn't like something, he just sends his " puppies " to take business for him.

A country lead by a gangster produces gangster-like children like this Chea Chheng. Subedi is a UN envoy, he should be treated politely. People have the right to question him any way they like but they must be civil, not gangster-like. The way Chea Chheng ask Subedi make all Cambodians look like gangsters, it's an embarrassment to all Cambodians because the whole world is watching as Subedi is a UN envoy. Shame on Hun Sen and shame on these CPP thugs!

That kid looks like a youn. If Hun Many gives that kid a gun and tells him to kill the opposition. that youn kid will kill at will and then be promoted to CPP higher rank.

Thats freedom of expressino for CPP. Anyone else its hell.

I understand all the comments above saying democracy whatever for protesting. But isn't it ironic when the government boycotts any criticism and shows of activism and any group going against the government??

There should not be a double standard. And those who are supporting these CPP student protests, why don't you stand up for the rights of other Cambodians who are persecuted everyday for voicing their opinions (Neutral and opposition groups). Why aren't you standing up for the general free voice of the people. You guys seem to get defensive when the protests align with your beliefs, go under criticism.

Especially, I thought that this sign of protest was UNACCEPTABLE given the context it was it. It was supposed to be a forum where questions could be raised in a CIVILISED manner. Not attacking the guest speaker. Show some manners.

I'm not sure how it works in Cambodia, but in Australian universities, there's an expected level of code of conduct, morality and respect whether or not you agree or disagree with the guest.

This just shows the act of ignorance that the government transcends to its youth...

There is no positive behavioural role model at all. I am very ashamed to be called Cambodian, when we have these airhead students leading our country.

Its called "pak pouk niyum" these AIRHEAD students were not using their brain to think what is fairness or what is respectful what is not.....These students suppose to be the back bones of the country but they choose to served his crony in this case is CPP Hun sen.

These dumb stupid students talked like their priminister Hun sen, it show the world that they all "niyum pak pouk=cronism" Well,a little frog in a small water well does not know how big the ocean is....All these frogs knew was their little well, they think its big for them.Just listens to the guy that spokes from S.Korea he was student like Cheng Chea but he much smarter because he was out of the well and seen the big ocean and looking back to his little well realizing that in the little well everything is wrong. Please don't be so narrow minded, open your mind to possibility out there is endless.....
