PHNOM PENH, 6 April 2013 (Viet Nam News/ ANN) — The second phase of a Vietnamese
language course for Cambodian Senate officials has ended successfully,
with 24 members receiving certificates for completing the course.
The closing ceremony was held in Phnom Penh yesterday with the participation of Vice Secretary General of the Cambodian Senate Lok Chhai and Vietnamese Charge d'affaires to Cambodia Lai Xuan Chien.
The four-month course, taught by lecturers from Ha Noi University, was held within the co-operation framework between the Vietnamese National Assembly and Cambodian Senate.
Lok Chhai said the course was a symbol of mutual determination to enhance the partnership of the two law-making bodies to meet the increasing demand for co-operation between the two countries' people.
The classes create an opportunity for Cambodian officials to pursue postgraduate education in Vietnam while also helping them research the Vietnamese language and become professional translators, he added.

Why don't Viet study Khmer?

Vietnam is the guarantor of Cambodia security, stability, and prosperity. All Cambodian officials thank Vietnam for their political career. In order to keep their jobs, most prominent and important officials in Cambodia's government must study Vietnamese language in order to continue to gain the benefits that Vietnam has bestowed upon Cambodia. If Cambodia wants to maintain the special relationship with Vietnam, all Cambodians must learn Vietnamese language.

How low these officials must go, that's it, this current governments must go. It seems to me that they don't have enough brain to run the country. They named streets in Cambodia in vietcoung names, they open Vietnam schools in Cambodia, now they have to learn vietnames. What would be next?
