PHNOM PENH, March 27, 2013 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. embassy in Phnom Penh will
host its sixth annual health fair on Friday in order to promote public
awareness on healthcare, said the embassy's press release on Wednesday.
The theme of the fair is "Good Health Is Your Best Wealth" and will include exhibitors from hospitals, pharmacies, eye care facilities, and dental clinics, said the statement.
"Over 30 exhibitors will speak about the common issues in preventing heart disease, diabetes, stroke, liver and kidney diseases, blindness, and cancer," it said. "This event promotes the importance of healthy eating, exercise, and preventative medical screenings as a way to maintain and improve one's health."
U.S. ambassador William E. Todd will open the fair with formal remarks and donate blood to the National Blood Transfusion Center, it added.
