The accident took place Thursday night around 10:30p.m. on National Road five in the commune of Toul Sangke, in the Russey Keo district.
Em Banan, 34, a major from Kampot province, threatened a bus driver, Chhim Bora, 43, by shooting his gun when his Camry hit the bus.
The bus had been parked on the side of the road due to mechanical issues.
The driver said Em Banan shot his gun in order to threaten him and told him to pay for damages after he rear-ended the bus.
Em Bana, the son of the a Kep police commissioner, was arrested immediately after the incident.

He should pay for the bus that he hits if the bus was damaged due to his carelessness driving to hits the dead bus,this the case of another power abuse by kew Cpp's policeman nowadays.
