However, if I feel the necessity to "brush up my
history lessons" I would be most ill advised to do so on instruction from faux pas ‘scholars’
and ‘historians’ of Vietnam who have no shame in concocting historical
"facts" to fit in with the official Party line?
Now, assuming this particular story report is false
and your version is historically accurate, what then are your versions of
history or "lessons" surrounding the Mekong Delta [Kampuchea Krom],
Koh Tral [Sorry, it’s "Phu Qoc" in your language! A place visible from Kep on
most days, unlike all these distant South China Sea islands you claim as yours.
Of course, territorial sovereignty is not governed by distance necessarily] the
Kingdom of Champa, the on-going encroachments along Cambodia's eastern border
and so forth?
I believe that even yourself and most of your Vietnamese
compatriots know that their nation has historically been in large measure a
product of piece meal annexations of other peoples' and nations' domains and
historical territories: a nation carved up of other nations' expanses and
sovereignties. So, aren't you being a shade disingenuous asking your own nation's
victims [or indeed anyone for that matter!] to take historical lessons when you
yourself along with your genetically like minded compatriots never care about
the losses endured by other peoples as a result of your own [nation's] greed and actions,
nor the academic principle of veracity or integrity and scrupulous empirical truths before history? And consider, if you will, how absurd it would be for the Jews to take history lessons from the Nazis about racism and holocaust? I rest my
case...for now!

Additional note by School of Vice
Let's see what the Chinese have to say about your ‘not
debatable’ ownership issue!
Sourcing supplies and establishing supermarkets are
one thing, but using these means to entrench your roots and occupation of
someone else's territories as you [Vietnam] have been doing to your neighbours’
rightful properties, is another matter altogether.
Further, isn't that the same slogan and bait you and
your ancestors had deployed vis a vis the Chams, the Khmers and the Montagnards
[ethnic hill tribes] in history i.e. that your settlements in a given local
region would work out to the universal benefit of all? For instance, presently,
that floating settlements by Vietnamese immigrants on the lake of the Tonle Sap
help bring down and keep the price of fish consumption low? Indeed, you have
been applying the same economic logic to all your long term strategic schemes
in Indochina from Triangle Economic Development to mass prostitution and media
broadcasting, particularly, in regions marked by clear ethnic populations and
along the bordering provinces! Surely, is that not also the very same logic in
gifting prostitutes to a commanding officer on his birthday whilst you prepared
and moved your troops onto an unprotected deserted island?
If you are absolutely sure that your ownership of the
island in question is beyond debate, would it not have been more honourable and
proper to settle conflicting claims through diplomatic or legal channels? I
understand that you have called for the South China Sea territorial disputes
with China to be settled at the World Court or multilaterally through Asean
mechanism. This being a superpower you cannot hope to confront militarily to
enforce your claims? On the other hand, you have been doing everything possible
to ensure your satellite regime in Phnom Penh will never have recourse to ask
the World Court or the UN Security Council to protect Cambodia's national
sovereignty and territory from your perennial encroachments!
When will you and your kind ever learn to live among
your neighbours without deceptions and treachery for a change, eh? What makes
you assume all these ethnic groups would rather live under your imposed rule
and submit to your discriminatory laws and disenfranchisement against them in
the immediate or long term?

5 January 2013 3:54 PM,
Your Yuon/Vietnamese leaders and people have always stolen the islands, sea and lands from other nations by killing and becoming so hypocrite and falsely claiming stolen lands, sea and islands that are not yours.
No one will want to be with your shameful and robbery nation, Communist Yuon-Vietcong.
Remember your hypocrite Yuon-Vietcong
1 took advantages of Russia and China to fight against American by cheating and betraying,
2. took advantages of Cambodian King Sihanouk to grand the trails in the promise to give South Cambodia/Khmer Krom (South Vietnam) back to the King until your thief Viet gook nation betrayed the King of Cambodia
3. took advantages of Pol Pot (Khmer Rouges leader) to fight against American in the promise of giving Pol Pot a power to control Cambodia until you betrayed Pol Pot by asking the land and island to be given to Vietnam, a thief nation.
4. took advantages of Hun Sen until your Vietgook nation leaders in Hanoi sent the illegal Vietnamese migrants to live on Cambodian water and land and destroying Cambodia's natural resources,
5 beyond and way beyond...
So, look at yourself, Vietnamese gooks and leaders, what a shame and disgusted....
Just let you know that Russia and China will bang your Vietnamese thieves of thief nation any time if you, your Hanoi leaders and people dare.
If the U.S. Officials know more and more about your evil Vietnamese nation, then the U.S. Officials and government will not tolerate the hypocrite behaviors and responsibilities to cheat and take advantages of Americans to fight against China. You, your Vietnamese thieves/leaders and people have very evil mindsets and numbskulls, not knowing how to act responsible to misleading other nations and manipulating other nations to hate and fight others until you, your Vietnamese thieves/leaders and people take for grants.
At this age, Vietnam should start applying scientific method to solve its own problems. One child per family is the best suited solution for a
country that has limited living space. Start the policy from the North first!
Next is to build your own island like in Bahrain.Don't just expect to steal lands from your neighboring countries !!!

True Khmer
To Khmerization...
As I have said before, the issue of the island is not debatable, it belongs to Vietnam, and Vietnam reserves the right to station whatever it wants on the island, it does not have to ask anyone’s consent. I am certain Vietnam is not alone in this action. As for the disputed territories, Vietnam is working with friends and partners to resolve the complex issues to the satisfactory of all parties involved.

In regard to the history of Champa and Khmer, it is what it is, history, constantly ranting about it is silly. It is not wise to dig up past historical grievances in order to justify one’s hostility against other people, it is unacceptable among the community of civilized nations. Even Cambodia’s history has shown, the Khmers were not the innocent victims of foreign conquests and subjugation as they would like to portray themselves to be. They were party to the act of military conquests, they vied for power, land, and resources, and at one time, they were the subjugators. Cambodians are very proud of their so-called Khmer empire. How else was that empire carved but from the pointed end of the swords. In fact, Angkor wat and many of its ancient temples were built by slaves from lands that it had subjugated. Champa was among the victims of Khmer military adventurism. Had the Khmer won, they would not be the one crying foul, they would be the victor and subjugator. Cambodia is simply the end result of failed military recklessness against its neighbors. No respectable international scholars and historians will give you the time of day to listen to your highly subjective, distorted, and falsify history.

It is not hard to understand the current political situation of Cambodia or any other country, if you look at it from a realistic and pragmatic viewpoint, something, it seems to me, many Cambodians lack. It is that lack of pragmatism that has caused Cambodia dearly. The truth is Vietnam is not encroaching upon Cambodia, it is not trying to subjugate Cambodia, and it is not plotting to turn Cambodia into Vietnam or Cambodians in Vietnamese. Those are false and groundless accusations leveled by overseas Cambodians and a few insignificant opposition members in order to advance their agenda because they play very little to no relevancy in Cambodia’s political affair. Like all country, Vietnam is pursuing its interests, and it is in Vietnam’s interests to maintain a pro-Vietnam government in Cambodia, a government that is friendly to Vietnam, the same goes with Laos. There is historical reason for it. While the world watched and did absolutely nothing as the Khmer Rouge was destroying Cambodia, and launched unprovoked brutal attacks into Vietnam, in respsonse to the incursions, Vietnam along with the current leaders of Cambodia toppled the genocidal Khmer rouge, liberated the country, saved millions of people, and brought about the revival of Cambodia as we see it today. It is the most profound and true humanitarian act that the people of one country could do for the people of another. From that historical context, it is not hard to understand why the CPP is the current ruling government of Cambodia.

Every militarily capable country maintains and defends the strategic space adjacent to it. The US does not allow any foreign power to use Mexico to threaten it security, likewise, Vietnam would never allow any foreign power to use Cambodia to threaten its security. Both Cambodia and Laos are sovereign states, and could pursue independent foreign policies, so long as their policies do not threaten their neighbors. The oppositions and overseas Cambodians harbored hostile and malicious intentions towards Vietnam, and given the chance, they will commit acts of violence against innocent Vietnamese and their own countrymen they deemed working with Vietnam. Those are the same people who recently called for a Libya-style destruction of Cambodia because they harbored the delusion that it would help propel them to power in Cambodia. However, Cambodia will never again walk the path of self-destruction. As Hun Sen made it clear, he would continue to rule Cambodia into his 90s, after him, members of the CPP will rule Cambodia. Vietnam will make certain that is as true as the rising and setting of the sun.
