PHNOM PENH, 22 July 2012 (Cambodia Herald) – Sok Somavatey's quick
rise to fame began as an actress in movies like My Favorite Village and
Warning Love.
Today, the 22-year-old is better known as a presenter for Bayon TV, the station run by the prime minister's daughter Hun Mana where she's been working since 2008
In addition to being a freshie girl in Hello mobile phone programs, Sok Somavatey has featured in music videos for local and international production companies.
While none of her relatives are involved in the entertainment industry, she says she loves the job and has to pursue her dreams.
Born on August 24, 1989, Sok Somavatey is the first of three daughters and is now a first year student at Norton University majoring in tourism.
She is said to be in a relationship with a rich man who she plans to marry.
