ODDOR MEANCHEY, 23 June 2012 (Cambodia Herald) – A Cambodian man was seriously
injured by Thai soldiers when he was shot while crossing illegally into
Thailand to cut timber, sources said.
Morm Mom, the 54-year-old victim, was accompanied by some 10 other loggers when the incident took place Friday in Dorng Tung village in Kon Kreal commune in Samrong.
Sources said Thai soldiers took the victim to a hospital in Thailand while the other loggers ran back to Cambodia.
