Published: 23-Mar-12 PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) – Cabinet Minister Sok An (pictured) met recently with a US business delegation led by Alexander Feldman, president of the US-ASEAN Business Council, the Cambodian People’s Party website said.
Sok An, who is also a deputy prime minister, told the delegation that US companies had so far invested $1.3 billion on 71 projects in Cambodia. He also said that the government was particularly promoting investment in the tourism sector.
Since the election of Yingluck Shinawatra as Thai prime minister, Sok An told the Americans that strained ties between Cambodia and Thailand had improved.
During the meeting, the website said, the Americans applauded Cambodia's chairmanship of ASEAN this year and its role in stabilizing the region and attracting foreign investment.
The website noted that US President Barack Obama planned to visit Cambodia in November during the East Asia summit.

Sok An is not Hun Sen's brother-in-law. Sok An's son is married to Hun Sen's daughter, so they are in-law, but not brother-in-law. He is very powerful and very corrupt. He is the most powerful after Hun Sen and also the most corrupt after Hun Sen.

If AH CHkae Sok An loves and wants to protect our Khmer country then he will stop hurting abusing the system of corruption, and using the law to do his criminal work.
