20 employees of MV International Manufacturing Co., Ltd have been suspended from their jobs by their employer because they have demanded for better working conditions and for the company to respect the labor law after a series of unexplained faintings at the factory.
On August 23rd to 28th, 2011, many MV employees had fainted in the workplace and they went on strike to demand for better working conditions in the workplace and accused the company of violating Article 76.8 of Cambodian Labour Laws. The company then suspended them from their jobs for going on strike.
