AKP Phnom Penh, October 19, 2011 –The Cambodian rubber exports volume rose to US$160 million in the first nine months of this year, Ministry of Commerce’s statistics said.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, from January to September, Cambodia exported around 35,000 tons of rubber, up from 21,000 tons as compared with same period last year.
The total value of rubber exports from Cambodia increased to US$160 million from nearly US$56 million the previous year, the statistics showed.
Major Cambodian rubber markets are Vietnam, Malaysia, China, and South Korea.
