Cambodia was once the richest country on the planet

By True Khmer

Re: An American[-Cambodian] success story

You don't have to be American/Canadian or Australian citizen. There are more life than to become to be a particular citizens or you have to be in a rich countries.

You should be proud to your heritage. Cambodia was once the richest country on the planet. Angkor Wat was the tallest building in the world at the time it was built from 9th-12th century). It is still rich up to present day, but our country is being abused by neighbours and the present government (CPP) that was set up by Hanoi.

Paradise is in your hands and is in your philosophy. Our existence and our earthly affair is not paralleled. You are already a special citizen of our human league. If you are strong, you should believe that no one is above you or below you. This planet was not invented by any race. It is our home and so far it is the only planet in the whole universe that claimed to have life forms like our planet.

You are already special. When you conceived in your mum's womb, you were the only person that travelled the impossible journey that you are the only person survived among hundred and thousand of your brothers and sisters that all died along the journey to your mum's egg. See how special you are.

Yes,you can live against all the odd, for our existence is full of mystery. All you need is a meaningful life and a fresh air to breath.

Just by the title of this article, it appears that the author is either absolutely delusional or base his knowledge on false information and understanding of history very much.

I am proud of my country but proclaiming Cambodia was once the richest country on the planet?

Khmerization, please have some standard regarding the kind of articles you choose to post on your page. Everyone can have their opinions but you choosing to post articles bloated with exaggerated sense of reality only makes your page that less credible.

Just don't make your comment obvious and lengthy or it'll be a target by Khmerization to have your comment post with added headline to create some heated discussion and provoking thoughts. It's cool to have your comment posted in Khmerizaton but make sure to make yours enjoyable to read, otherwise, it might turn out not what you've expected.

agree with Khmerization.
to your comment, you better read and think well before you blame other.
Cambodia was of course a richest country on all fields. Khmerization did not say about one thing special, but in general Cambodia have had not just the the natural resources, but also the humaniste education (the fields of philosphy, sociology and psychology), the allreound leadership-system, the general cultural-economical-social building and of course the democracy on the former Khmer Empire territorial.

Provide proof of your claim or else you're just speaking out of your ass.

Funny enough, I find that your logic of the awesomeness of the Khmer Empire coincides that same mentality of the Khmer Rouge regime. They based their belief in some legendary tales and folklores. Guess what happened when they tried to replicate the legendary stories of greatness.

I grew up listening to all these great tales but only grew up to understand what is a legend and what is reality. For your own sake, learn the difference between the two so you won't be the moron that base your knowledge on legend rather than real history.

There are many "Great Empires" in the course of human history. Beginning with Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medes/Persian, Greek, Rome, all were great in their own rights. But empires comes and goes, due to fact that many were brought about by the wills of "tyrants" who based their conquests on false beliefs systems. Many of these "leaders" mainly used the concept of a "god-king" concepts to subjugate their subjects for their total sense of loyalties. But just like anything in the world; when such ideas "failed" the whole empires crumbled. Khmer empire became great because of it's religious system based on "Hinduism" of a god-king where every levels of his subject must owe their allegiance to; but it crumbled when it adopted it Buddhism where kings were no longer regarded as a god-king any longer and it subject doesn't have to display total allegiance any longer. Rome fell when it adopted Christianity as state religion. So is Mongols and many others who adopted a less aggressive form of religions and following a "rather self-denial" kind of religious concepts. Religious instructions were comparable to "computer programs" that programmed individuals to act in a certain way, i.e. either to fail or to succeed, to win or to lose, to build up empires or to destroy it.

Yea. That's one reasonings people have for the down fall of empires throughout history. I believe in those theories as well but you can't rule out other theories because no one can really theorize for sure what really brought those empires down. A well-accepted theory is the best we have in term of assessing the historical causality of such epic proportion.

23 October 2011 6:02 PM is sensed to be a Yuon/Vietgook bastard trying to mess around in order to make his ugliest Yuon/Vietgook nation proud of as the hell.

Vietgooks were born in Khmer land and could write and speak Khmer (now can speak English) to insult Khmer people because of his ugly mind and mentality, trying to steal land, power and natural resources.

Yuon/Vietgook folks everywhere have been trying to protect their lies and their evil thieves or robbery.

The more the person or people say the very bad things about Khmer/Cambodian people, they are considered very bad Vietgook/Tai Sung Chinese or Die Viet from Southern China.

Khmer Rouges were formed to be violent because of secret Yuon/Vietgook agenda or dangerous propaganda to Kill people to take land and natural resources. There were hidden Vietgook scumbags and bastards in Khmer Rouges killed many or millions of innocent Khmer peoples for decades.

There will be real worries that Vietgook refugees living in the U.S., European regions or anywhere, they will rob at night by killing people who were sleeping in order to take lands and properties or powers. Vietgooks/Vietcong folks can not be trusted. They called themselves rebels, but evil rebels or dangerous killers. That was why those fucking Tai Sung Chinese/Die Viet/Vietgooks were kicked out of Southern China back in Mongol Empire period.

Khmer people during the Khmer Empire periods and after that period were considered very kind and generous. That was why Kings of Khmer Empires were very kind and help the betrayal Vietgook/Die Viet/Tai Sung Chinese folks to turn to attack and killed Khmer people and kings...Long story!!!

That is why we hate Yuon/Vietgooks who did not stop doing such the criminal acts or murdering others to steal things. They are ugly rats and cheap people

Everyday I've to deal with ah Yuon Vietcong in overseas too. Where I worked in O/C all of the electrict company 90% ah Yuon Vietcong working there. Those animals they're helping each other so much opposite of Khmer people they don't helps each other like ah Yuon Vietcong. That why we lost our land to the enemies.
