AKP Phnom Penh, July 29, 2011 –Malaysian Minister of Defense H.E. Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi yesterday had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen here, H.E. Ieng Sophalet, Assistant to Prime Minister said.
According to H.E. Ieng Sophalet, H.E. Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressed his support to the International Court of Justice’s hearing on Preah Vihear on July 18.
He told Samdech Techo Hun Sen about his purpose of the official visiting in Cambodia is to promote the military cooperation and brought 10,200 Qurans and 1,000 carpets for Cambodian Muslim, H.E. Ieng Sophalet said.
H.E. Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi also promised to bring 100,000 Qurans for each family of Cambodian Muslim.
In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his thanks to people and Malaysian government’s support to Cambodian, H.E. Ieng Sophalet said.
