Thailand's whipping up a propaganda war against Cambodia

Anonymous said...

The Thai-Cambodia war, has always been accompanied by Thai propaganda from many angles. The Thai government's attempts to deepen diplomatic row with Cambodia over the arrest of a Cambodian citizen, allegedly for espionage, who has been paraded on Thai TVs and shown on Thai mainstream media in order to whip up Thailand's nationalistic propaganda against Cambodia. The case seemed to have been blown out of proportion and, to many observers, it has been tried by the Thai media and, to a certain extent, by Thai PM Abhisit as the judge.

Thailand has turned up the heat in the propaganda war with Cambodia to win the heart and mind of the international audience . Thailand's propaganda war against Cambodia, which should be described as "deeply concerning over Thailand negative noises", had been gleaned from reports in the Thai media than through official diplomatic channels in the past year.

Most Thai media storytelling doesn't seem to get connected to the spy case. If they were spies, it doesn't make sense that these three men, with different nationalities and different backgrounds and carrying maps with them, were so stupid to allow themselves to be arrested and charged as spies so easily like that?

The remembrance of the humiliating in 1962 and the fear that it might at any moment be repeated, were the dominant emotions in the hearts of the Thai people during the month leading to ICJ clarification request by Cambodia which is now rapidly panic in Thailand lead to the arrested of Cambodian citizen.

In 2009 young Cambodian was reportedly shot and burned alive by Thai soldier.and Thai Foreign Ministry has maintained the brutal incident never happened.the barbarian Thai always defend their barbarian act.The human life is a precious thing, and that taking it away from someone by force is a bad thing.

Thailand is fallen behind third world country in the basic human right Thailand should be aware of Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence. In Thailand guilty until proven innocent .

The universality of human rights has been clearly established and recognized in international law. Human rights are emphasized among the purposes of the United Nations as proclaimed in its Charter, which states that human rights are "for all without distinction". Human rights are the natural-born rights for every human being, universally. The Charter further commits the United Nations and all Member States to action promoting "universal respect for, and observance of, human rights.

Consider weighting the value of Cambodian life compare to Thai life , as a human being rich or poor the value are the same, rich Thai life not worth any penny more than poor Cambodian life. the self-destructed Thailand action not do any favour for Thailand to the contrast it will furthermore damage Thai reputation as a country.
