Fighting between Cambodian and Thai troops at Ta Krabey temple has continued into its 12th day despite numerous ceasefire agreements at local level.

Cambodian troops have accused Thai troops of violating the ceasefire agreements and launched an attacked against them on a daily basis.

Cambodian troops told DAP News that the fighting started again last night, Monday 2nd May, when Thai troops thrown hand grenades at Cambodian troops and fired mortar and artillery rockets into Cambodian territory at 10pm. The Thai shelling lasted until 5am on Tuesday morning, 3rd May.

CEN reported that Cambodian troops said that they have used self-defence rights and fought back fiercely at 1am-3am early this morning after they had shown the utmost restraint by not responding to continued Thai attacks in the last few days after the ceasefires. CEN also reported that from 8:40pm to midnight, Thai troops have fired many rounds of 6omm and 80mm rockets into Cambodian frontline positions at Ta Krabey temple, but Cambodian troops only responded from 1am-3am.

No casualty was reported on either side.

Kampuchea Thmey reported that there was fierce fighting on Sunday night, it ended at 7:45am on Monday morning. However, a Thai fighter jet was still flying over the area menacingly. It also reported that the ceasefire agreements reached during talks at local level at Ta Moan Thom temple and Thmor Daun village on Sunday, 1st May, have been broken by the Thai side after Thai troops launched an attack on Cambodian troops again on Sunday night and Monday morning.

On another development, the Cambodian Ministry of Defence has issued a statement denying a Thai claim that Cambodian troops had abandoned two dead Cambodian soldiers to rot in the jungle. The Thai military had released two photos showing Thai soldiers dragging and carrying what appear to be two dead Cambodian soldiers left behind by their comrades. The Cambodian Ministry of Defence's statement has denied the Thai claim and said: "These are information and pictures made up entirely for political gain. "

Kampuchea Thmey has also reported that the Cambodian government has allowed some of the 45,200 evacuees displaced by the fighting to return homes. Oddar Meanchey provincial governor, Mr. Pich Sokhin, told Kampuchea Thmey that the government has allowed some of the evacuees from O'Smach and the other areas to return homes. However, people displaced from areas near Ta Krabey and Ta Moan Thom temples, where tensions are still high and fighting are still raging every day and night, will not be allowed to return to their homes yet.

May god bless Cambodian soldiers and protect them from harm way.

I don't think that was a dead Cambodian soldier that is being picked up by black uniform Thai soldiers. Why would they do that? For what reason? We would think that only Cambodian troops would go in to pick this dead body. Remember, not all Thai soldiers are in black uniform. There are officers that are also in green camoflage uniform. Cambodian troops wear a slighlty distinctive camoflage uniform than what is in the picture above.

Anyone can produce this type of picture. Cambodian gov't official needs to confirm this. It's unappropriate for public to see this if it eventually was a dead Cambodian soldier. Cambodian need to produce Thai soldiers that were shot dead every time they enter Cambodian territory and post them in a public.

It's part of Thai media propaganda spreading false messages. They tend to twist the story around. One thing we should keep in mind is, Thailand is a master of manipulation. I don't believe that dead body being dragged out is a Cambodian soldier. Cambodian troops do not advance forward. They are at a defense, well dugged in and conceal, and in constant prepareness. On the other hand, Thai troops is on the offense. They're constantly forcing themselves forward to take Prasat Ta Moan and Ta Krabey. Thai troops are being cycle daily, so the next platoon or company would always face the unexpectation. This could mean that everytime they push forward, they were welcome with AK 47, machine gun, grenades, RPG, etc. I think the casualties on Thai troops is substantial in these latest battles but you're not going to hear it from Thai military.

If we look at the uniform, it is a Cambodian military uniform. Also we see the Thai rangers (black-clad soldiers) in the pictures. It means if the dead are Thai soldiers they would have black-uniform because Thai regular soldiers and the black-clad are separate, they never go to the battle together. I feel sad for our soldiers. I don't blame our soldiers for leaving them behind. Maybe they have to retreat fast and can't recover the bodies of those 2 soldiers or maybe the Thai soldiers captured them and executed them. If they are Cambodian soldiers, then it is very said because they look like the carcasses/dead bodies of dogs being dragged away. May their soul rest in peace.

This is just like Hollywood scene of Thai soldiers carrying their own dead rangers back to their territory. The Thai soldiers couldn't even penetrate that area. Every time they try the Thai soldiers ending up shot dead and abandon their dead soldiers and left the dead bodies to rotten. Remember the Thais are the big liar to the world and make lame ass excuses. So don't always believe of what the Thai media say.

The uniforms look so clean no blood stained on it if those is the Cambodian dead soldiers it was hit by bullets and a lot of blood you can't even recognize the uniforms any it make look clean so can recognize the uniforms the dead body it smell strong how can those people carrying dead body without wearing masks its is a movie or real life.

If it real probably they take picture show the facial so some body can recognize who it is .

Please Khmerization zoom the picture bigger I already zoom in my PC it look really clean and the location where it is it really importance .

That camoflage uniform being worn on that dead soldiers doesn't necessarily mean that it's Khmer soldier. Why would those Thai soldiers quicky dragging that dead body out? Something is wrong with that picture, isn't it? I don't think that was a Khmer soldier. I think it was one of the Thai military commander being shot dead and had to be quickly dragged out. An average soldier would be in black uniform, an officer or someone in commanding position would be more likely wearing camoflage uniform. Maybe that dead soldier is too important to be left rotten in that thick jungle.

I would like to wait and see how this unfolds.

If this is really the image of our dead soldiers. It's very dishearting to witness such sight. But, instead of being sadden by it, let us hold it up as a remind of Thai's aggression.

I like peace and stability for human kind but sometimes, you just need to not give a damn and kill the freaking siem bastards.

This photo is highly questionable. A uniform can be easily draped on a dummy or person and then stage for a photo shoot. Don't take this at its face value. After all, siems are known to manipulate facts and produce fictions.
