I adamantly believe that this contractual agreement is meaningless.
The situation will return to square one, the Thais and us [Khmer]will continue to kill each other. The Thais will always want to take Khmer's lands and properties and they will do every dirty things that they possibly can to take it, one by one and eventually they will take them all.
They will not honor any crappy agreement with us. When the last time they have respected any agreement with Khmer for many centuries, and the same as the Yuon [Vietnamese]?
Historically, the Thais used forces to take our lands. The Yuon used tricks, manipulations, and influences.
Now, only a few of Khmers knew about the patterns of our neighbors, many don't, especially with the Yuon. The question is, How can we educate every Khmer of this bitter history of ours?. And the ULTIMATE QUESTION is, What will our government and every Khmer do to stop this disasters to our country?.
We [Khmer] can not afford to be stupid anymore, and don't pretend to be clever if we are not. something have to be done.

Most Khmers knows about it.
Like you said, these two neighbors are the worse friend ever on earth.
Coomunism might be the one that Cambodia must pursue.
UK and US are very silent when dealing with the situation with Thailand-Cambodia dispute.
Now, I don't care about democracy nor communism tendency, I support only who always helps us when we are in very difficult situation.
Democracy or not is not the case anymore. Hun Sen weather or not Prime Minister is not the importance anymore. At least, we can live on our own.
The US can't do much as the US is a country based on the the genocide of American Indians.
The UK is the mother of the US.
