Over ten thousand Khmers living in the USA, but only 100 Khmers turned up for this? [Editor's note: About 300,000 Cambodian live in America]. That's indicated that Khmer-Americans don't care about their original country. They are not united as one for protection their previous country.
That is very sad for Cambodia.

Even the dogs who joined the US Military would say yes to fight for Khmers in Cambodia, if they were to help Thai, they will themselves sell out. Just because America has given them so much. I don't think the majority of Khmers living in America have sold themselves out. I have never considered myself a sellout. I was a first child in my family to be born in America. My parents came to America in the early 80's. I'm always proud to be Khmer. My Khmer isn't as great as I wanted to be, but I try. I am doing my part to show support for my root, even if that meant typing up my opinions and thought on what matter to Cambodia. I also don't think Khmers in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, or any other parts of the world are turning their backs about what is happening in Cambodia. What is the best thing for them to do? They're trying to balance both sides of the world without leaning too much on one side. You shouldn't make such conclusion. We're all Khmers, anything good or bad happen to our country effects us all.

Khmer population in America don't live in one bunch up group like Vietnamese or Chinese, as in China Town or Little Saigon. The largest Khmer population in America is in Cambodia Town within the city of Long Beach, California. They may not be out there protesting, but they are very well aware of the situation in Cambodia. They're talking and discussing about the issue that effects Cambodia all the times. They are very supportive of Cambodia fighting back the Thai invasion of Phreah Vihear. There shouldn't be any doubt about some Khmers who don't have love for their homeland.

I still believe that the majority of Khmers living outside of Cambodia still care about Cambodia, but sometimes circumstances, like works, personal and family issue, prevented them from attending such a demonstration. So, I congratulate these 100 Khmer-Americans for taking their time to support Cambodia against Thai invasion.
Why do Kos Trol, sea and lands proximately over 10 000 km2 have been lost to Vietnam by who treaty? Why don't Cambodia goverment transparency explain to cambodia army at front line and the whole nation about this? Why don't they include this into education system? Why?
Cambodian army are fighting at front line for 4.6 km2 and what's about over 10 000km2 of cambodia to Vietnam. Nobody dare to talk about it! Why? Cambodian army you are decide the fade of your nation, Cambodian army as well as cambodian people must rethink about this again and again. Is it fair?

Cambodian army at front line suffer under rain, wind, bullets, bombs,lack of foods, lack of nutrition, their families have no health care help, no securities after they die but a very small group eat well, sleep well, sleep in first class hotel with air conditioning with young girls message, have super health care from oversea medical treatment, they are billionairs, millionairs who sell out the country to be rich and make cambodian people suffer everyday as cambodian people know already.
very agree with most of you, but not all. we khmer living abroad do very care and concern about our motherland. "Balance" is the word. Khmer in Cambodia call us a traitor when we go to visit our homeland, but, yet they ask us for $. In a situation like this we Khmer feel hurt and concern but our voices may not heard in Cambodia.
