A Thai soldier captured by Cambodian troops during the fighting early Saturday, the 5th February at Phnom Trop was sent to Phnom Penh today, 6th February when Thai PM Abhisit Vejjajiva declared that no Thai soldier went missing during the fighting.
According to the interrogation, the captured Thai soldier said that he was a border guard at the Burmese-Thai border, but was sent to fight against Cambodian troops in Preah Vihear.
The during the fighting on Friday 4th February, 4 Thai soldiers were captured by Cambodian troops but they were released and handed over to Thai commanders after the conclusion of the meeting yesterday at Choam Sra-Ngam.
