After a denial by Keo Put Rasmy that he ever met Prince Ranariddh to discuss about a merger between the Nororodom Ranariddh Party and Funcinpec Party, Prince Ranariddh has released a letter he sent to Mr. Keo Put Rasmy and an unsigned proposal to create the new party called Funcinpec 81 which confirmed that they had met to discuss about the merger and that Keo Put Ramsy had agreed to his proposal to form "Funcinpec 81". However, maybe he received pressures from within the Funcinpec Party, especially Nhiek Bunchhay, Keo Put Rasmy has denied any meeting ever took place between the pair and that the talks to create Funcinpec 81 is off indefinitely.
