The 7,300 metres long road leading up to Ta Krabey temple (pictured) in Banteay Ampil district of Oddar Meanchey province had been completed after the roadwork was started on 1st September.
Maj-Gen. Kheng Somedh, commander of Cambodian Engineering Unit, said the 7,300 metres long road had been bulldozed and levelled with red gravels, taking only 15 days to complete. He said the road will be widened and paved in the near future as part of the government's policy of border area developments to transform the borders into the areas of peace.
In August, the 9-kilometres long, $1.3 million road to Ta Moan temple has been completed and opened for use.
