The 513th Battalion, which is an intervention and response force, has opened an 8-day training and drill session near Poipet town from 8th to 15th September.
Col. Sok Tina, commander of the 513th Battalion, said the training and drill was divided into three stages. The first stage is the attack plan, the second stage is a real action drill and the third stage is the after-battle preparations for the next orders.
Brig-Gen. Chan Sophon, commander of Military Region 5, thanked the 51st Brigade and as well as soldiers from other units who had made great efforts to strengthen national defence under the great leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen.
