Hun Sen praised the good co-operation between Australia and Cambodia

Prime Minister Hun Sen has praised the good relations and co-operations between Cambodia and Australia, starting with Australia's efforts to bring peace to Cambodia and co-operations on developments, especially on agricultural sector.

Mr. Eang Sophalleth, assistant to Mr. Hun Sen, said the PM had expressed his appreciations to Australia through Ambassador Margaret Adamson when she met with him to say goodbye at the end of her ambassadorial term.

Mr. Eang Sophalleth said the PM had thanked Australia for the good co-operations on tackling human trafficking, transnational crimes and the fight against terrorism.

Mrs. Adamson has completed her ambassadorial term in Cambodia and on 14th July, Foreign Minister Stephen Smith has announced the appointment of Ms. Penny Richards to replace her.
