Global Philanthropist Trivani Funds After School Program for Cambodian Students

Springville, UT, (MMD Newswire) June 18, 2010 -- The Trivani Foundation, philanthropic arm of global product seller Trivani International http://www.trivani.net, has partnered with charity Sustainable Cambodia to fund an education-focused after school program for impoverished Cambodian students. The program, named the Kravanh Bright Future Center, uses volunteer college students to tutor Cambodian pupils in the areas of math, English and science. The program also provides vocational training.

"Sustainable Cambodia has done a tremendous job of understanding what local students need to excel in the most important school subjects," says Dee Mower, President of Trivani International. "With this program, Cambodian students not only improve their math, reading and science skills, but learn a trade that helps them financially support themselves as well as their families."

Trivani, the global philanthropic arm of leading personal care product seller Trivani International, has partnered with Sustainable Cambodia on many projects, including supplying bicycles and school supplies for poor children. The vast majority of funds for the Trivani Foundation come from the sale of eco-friendly, toxin-free products created by parent company Trivani International. These goods, ranging from hair conditioner to vitamins, are part of the company's flagship Do No Harm product line.

"When I was a student, my parents had the luxury of being able to send me to a tutor after school to not just help when my grades were slipping, but enhance my standard, everyday education experience," says J.D. Barnes. "Thanks to that wonderful experience, I made it my personal mission to give someone else that same opportunity. This program more than fulfills that goal."
