A Thai jet fighter has reportedly violated Cambodian territorial sovereignty when it trespassed into Cambodian airspace in Battambang province, reports everyday.com.
Choum Sip, district governor of Sampov Loun district in Battambang province, has on 18th May told the Koh Santepheap newspaper by phone that a Thai spy plane flew 5 km deep inside Cambodian airspace in the evening of 14th May. He added that the Thai plane entered the Cambodian airspace in Malai district in Banteay Meanchey province and flew along the borderline to Sampov Loun and Phnom Preuk districts, then it crossed back into Thai airspace near Phnom Ka-ngok opposite Phnom Barang Thleak (Mount of the Falling Frenchmen) in Phnom Preuk district of Battambang province.
However, Gen. Ouk Khnuoth, the deputy commander for the Battambang province military region, said that he is not sure about the incident of a Thai plane violating the Cambodian airspace yet. He said that if such an incident happened it will sure get the attention of his force. But Gen. Por Vannak, the commander of the Battambang military police, confirmed that there was indeed a violation of Cambodian airspace by a Thai plane but it flew at high altitude, he said.
According to the Cambodian military, Thai planes had violated numerous times. From 2008 to 2009, Thai jet fighters had violated Cambodian airspace on numerous occasions along the borders of Preah Vihear, Battambang, Ouddor Meanchey, Koh Kong, Pursat and Banteay Meanchey provinces. In Banteay Meanchey alone, Thai jet fighters had violated Cambodian airspace 42 times in 2008 and 6 times in the first two months of 2009.

C'mon Mr. one eye, where ta hell are you? why don't you do something about it?? Show your people how strong you are...or are you only strong with the unarmed civilian??.
Where are our anti-aircraft missiles? Why don't we shoot the hell out of them? This is a violation of our sovereignty and we must take action. Just shoot them down next time Thai planes fly over Cambodian airspace.
I am totally agree with your comment above.
