Prince Norodom Ranariddh, former president of the royalist Funcinpec Party and the king's current Privy Councillor, denied rumours that he will return to lead Funcinpec Party, reports Kampuchea Thmey.
Mr. Chan Boribor, spokesman for Prince Ranariddh, told Kampuchea Thmey on 11th May that in the past there are rumours Prince Ranariddh will return to lead the yet to be formed Funcinpec-Nationalist Party.
However, he said these rumours are false. He said Prince Ranariddh has no intention of returning to politics because he is now the president of the king's Privy Council. He wishes to inform national and international public opinion not to believe the above rumours.

some how i agree, wasnt any other way then just flexing ur muscle during 1997.should have played it cool but NO!
