The beginning of Thailand's disintegration?

By Anonymous

Due to Thailand's political and economic division, and discrimination in its society, Thailand is very vulnerable to violence and unrest which may lead to civil war. There are three provinces of Muslims in the south that had wage violence clashes against the Thai government, possibly for independence, and now three more provinces in the east that are now beginning to question themselves of their identity and their own future. Could they want their own independence as well...?

It is in every heart and mind of every Khmer to re-unite with their long lost brothers and sisters who had been brainwashed by Thai to hate Khmer and to see that the grass on Thailand's side will always be greener. Maybe this might change their view. Khmer will always be Khmer, to re-unite with the long lost Khmer would be a great thing. If violent and political unrest persist, this will escalating throughout the kingdom, and Thailand will be experiencing a part of its history that was experienced by the Khmer Empire in the 14th century. It was a weakening of a central government system that lead to a rebellion and wars which ultimately split the empire and created three kingdoms in the process.

Cambodia need to be prepared for the worst outcome. The worst is, if hell gone loose in Thailand, Thailand will react irrationally as she had always done. Thailand will attempt to wage war with Cambodia by blaming Cambodia for the cause. Cambodia must always be on the alert and vigilance at all time. If such civil war broke out in Thailand, there also will be mass exodus of refugees flooding into Cambodia and its neighboring countries.

Dude!
We don't have to be reunited with those provinces because now our poverty is still the main problem. Reunion is happened if we are rich enough. Now, we are poor. We don't have ability to support the divided provinces (possibility). They are using Thai language. How can we merge with each other?
We might be, in the future, close relationship possibly.
In my long expectation, we just want Thailand to be good friends with us. That's it. We don't want the cheaters, betrayers, or border encroacher anymore.
If we can change their minds not to hate us, discriminate us, or consider us poor, undeveloped..etc.
If Thailand is weak, we're also effected (economy and tourism).
Thailand and Cambodia have the same regions, similar characteristic, and similar language.
Do you think this current government (Hun Sen) is able to develop the divided provinces?
Now, we had only 21 province and 3 city (m not sure). We're still living in poverty.
The main thing is that try to eliminate corruption so that people can be given equally the development of economy.

I am of the opinion that Cambodia is able to absorb new provinces which break away from Thailand, provided that Thailand leaves them and Cambodia alone. The ethnic Khmers living inn Surin, Sisaket, Korat, Buriram are more richer than average Khmers living in Cambodia, therefore the Cambodian government don't have to pay to help them integrate. Their reunion with Cambodia would make Cambodia much more richer and stronger. However, this is just a dream only because ethnic Khmers living in Thailand would never want to break away from the richer Thailand to reunite with the poorer Cambodia. Another thing is that any present or future Thai governments would never allow them to break away. They will use force against them or against Cambodia to keep them under Thai control.

If KhmerKondal support our long lost brothers anything possible. This will help us to become stronger and regain our territories back. I hope this will come true one day. Otherwise, Thailand will always continue to look down and disrespect us as usual. They been doing this for centuries to Khmers.
