BRISTOL — Brittany Decker (pictured), Miss Hartford County 2010, will present “One World,” a benefit pasta dinner to support her Miss Connecticut quest and the Sok Sabay Medical Clinic in Cambodia, Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nuchie’s Restaurant.

There will be entertainment and presentation of Decker’s documentary which won first-place honors for feature reporting in the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Associated Press radio and TV contest.

A Western New England College communication major, Decker, a junior from Bristol, produced a documentary on a local charitable foundation’s efforts to help the poor in Southeast Asia.

In October, Decker travelled to Cambodia with Dr. Mary Anne Herron of The Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation to document the foundation’s efforts to provide education and medical care to villagers outside of Phnom Penh.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be reserved by e-mail at Brittany: Misshartfordcounty@gmail.com or Bdecker02@sbcglobal.net or call (860) 620-7069.
