A one-star navy general has been summoned by the court and detained after he allegedly beaten a boy and his female school teacher in Sihanoukville, reports Koh Santepheap.
Commodore Keo Mony Soka was summoned by the Sihanoukville Court on 11th March and detained after questioning after he was accused of severely beaten a 10 year-old boy and his female teacher from the International Home of English after the boy had teased his 14 year-old daughter with a turtle on 5th March.
The reports said that the beatings happened after the 10 year-old school boy found a turtle, picked it up and teased the 14 year-old daughter of the navy commodore who also study at the same school. The girl called her father on her mobile phone. A short time later, the commodore and his teenage son arrived and the father started beating the female teacher while his teenage son started beating the 10 year-old boy. On 11th March, a court issued a summon and on 12th he was questioned in which he fiercely defended the charges. After questioning, the court ordered he be detained awaiting trial. His teenage son is still on the run.

This is CPP officials! Nothing new. They always abuse their power. I feel bad for the boy and his teacher. Teasing around is part of children active life. The idiot father could and should have use peaceful approach. Pathtic!
This criminal general deserved to be jailed as a lesson to other powerful people that the abuse of their powers and positions cannot be tolerated. Teasing with a turtle is nothing serious. This crooked general should report the matter to the school principal to deal with the case, not take matter and law into his own hands.
What a pathetic general... beating a woman AND a 10 year old kid. How can anyone get any lower. And what an excellent example to set for your kids. This idiot should be castrated so he wont be able pollute the rest of the human race.
This idiot should be put in jail and then demoted to a private soldier and then kicked out of the navy.

Thanks goodness that this violent man is being detained. His daughter should also be kicked out of that school. She's a 14-year-old girl and she does not know how to report to the proper school authority...hello..durhhhh...report it to the teacher. And that violent man, he is a jungleman...why don't you report it to the school principal.
What a impunity society. Now I know why many nations belittle of khmer people. Perhaps colonize by the Viet isn't a bad deal, aleast the commie regime can protect khmer from inhuman thugs. Today khmer act like a wild beast. What pathetic people they are.
Wow, as a son of a 2 stars and a grandson of a 4 stars general, Im deeply disappointed to hear this news. This general disgraced the Royal Cambodian Military and his people. If I'm a 4 stars general like my grandfather, I would take serious action against this man.
