After the completion of the FBI investigations into the 1997 grenade attacks which killed 19 and wounded about 150 of his supporters, Mr. Sam Rainsy had issued a statement calling for the arrest of Mr. Hun Sen, according to a confidential file which had just released.

In his statement, Mr. Sam Rainsy said that there were "irrefutable evidences about Mr. Hun Sen's responsibility in the deadly attack" contained in the FBI's preliminary report.

Another hadwritten report submitted to co-Minister of Interior You Hockry, which also bears the signature of Minister You Hockry, also pointed the fingers to the bodyguards of then Second Prime Minister Hun Sen as the perpetrators.

The reports said that Mr. Hun Sen's bodyguards deployed around Wat Botum near the attack site have opened the gate to let the grnade throwers slipped into the compound of Mr. Hun Sen's Bodyguard Unit. Some witnesses even said Mr. Hun Sen's bodyguards were the ones who threw the grenades.

Please read the witnesses' statement and excerpt of the FBI reports in PDF format here.

Hun Sen is right to say that laws must be applied to every body.
Hun Sen himself had commited crime against Khmers in 1997, he must be accused and judged if Cambodia don't want to be a republic of banana, run by dictator.

Yes, laws must be applied equally to all Khmer citizens, including Hun Sen. Hun Sen had committed many atrocious crimes so he must be punished like everybody else.
